Intumescent fire strips are specifically designed for fire door assemblies, used to seal the gaps between the door leaf and frame, or between multiple door leaves, in the event of a fire. When exposed to high temperatures during a fire, the intumescent core material expands and fills any gaps between the door leaf and frame. -L
